Eclipse Operations Directorate / EOD is a purely private, non-commercial gaming community. No tracking takes place, no advertising is served, and no data is sold or passed on for advertising purposes.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany). When the pages are accessed, the host automatically processes server log files (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser identifier). This processing is necessary for the technical operation and security of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
3. Sign-in via Steam
You can sign in to your player account via Steam (Valve Corporation) using OpenID. In doing so, this website receives only your public 17-digit Steam ID – no password and no other Steam account data. The sign-in itself takes place on Steam's pages; Valve's privacy policy applies.
4. Player data
When you play on our DayZ server, we store the following to provide the community features (progress, XP system, orders): Steam ID, player name, play times, sessions, and orders placed in your player account. The legal basis is the provision of the community features you use (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). In the public player list your Steam ID is shown only in masked form.
5. Cookies and local storage (cookie notice)
This website uses only technically necessary cookies – therefore no cookie banner is required (§ 25 (2) TDDDG):
eod_player– session cookie for your player account after Steam sign-in; deleted when you close the browser.eod_admin– session cookie for the protected admin area; deleted when you close the browser.eod-lang– stores your language choice (German/English) so the pages display in your preferred language; contains no personal data.
No tracking, analytics or advertising cookies are used.
6. External links
Our pages link to external services (e.g. our Discord server). When you follow these links, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
7. Storage period and deletion
Player data is deleted when it is no longer required for the operation of the community or when you request its deletion. The host deletes server log files automatically after the usual periods.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them, simply contact bkhmike@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority – the competent authority is the Saxon Data Protection and Transparency Commissioner.
